Ways to Pay Your Bill
We offer several options for paying your Menard Electric Cooperative bill. Please use the method most convenient to you and be sure to check out our budget billing program.
Please note that bills are mailed on the 7th of the month and payment is due by 4:30 p.m. the 28th of each month. We are not responsible for postal delivery delays; please watch for your bill and allow 5-6 days to mail payment. Use our Online Bill Pay to view your bills and pay by credit card, or opt for Automatic Payment for the easiest way to ensure that we receive your payment on time each month.
The easiest way to pay is to authorize automatic payment. Payments will be made from your checking or savings account automatically on the 17th day of each month. The amount withdrawn is the amount due shown on the billing statement you receive each month. Sign up using the form on the back of your bill payment stub, or download and mail in this form along with a cancelled check.
Pay Online with Bill Payment Processing
You may also pay your bill and view historical usage information online each month with a credit card. Simply click on the Pay Online or Pay Bill icons on our home page to set up an account. You'll need your account number and social security number-if we don't have your social security number on file you may need to call the office before you can set up your account.
Pay at the Office
We always welcome members to come to the office and pay their bill in person Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. A drop box across from the front entrance is also available 24-hours.
Mail a Check
You can of course mail us a check, due in our office by the 28th of the month.
You can also take the guesswork out of your bills with our budget billing plan. Qualified members can sign up to pay the same amount each bill July through May. The June bill each year will contain any credit (if usage was less than anticipated) or amount due (if usage was more than anticipated). You may sign up at any time throughout the year. Contact our billing department to find out more.
